Paularino has flourished
Paularino has flourished as a result of their partnership with St. James Anglican! After patiently yet intentionally praying for this campus for over a year, the doors were thrown open to deeper relationships and greater impact this fall. A fun, giant Paularino Panthers mural was created and paid for by St James - the principal, Dr. Nagy was thrilled! Volunteers help in the library with students, as well as over 20 classroom volunteers who assist kids with growing their reading skills. Reverend Todd Meyer is a consistent friendly face on campus and also volunteers there weekly. St. James had the opportunity to throw their first Christmas party for the Paularino school community on Dec 10 and it was EPIC! Over 250 people came to this fun Christmas celebration - to do crafts, decorate cookies, make cards, play games, and take family photos. Serving alongside 15+ church volunteers, Rev. Todd shared with the group how we can have peace through Jesus and led the group in singing carols. Two families won the Stater Bros $100 gift card and everyone left with a Christmas mug and invitation to St. James for Christmas week services. The principal's husband noted that the party was the most full and fun he had seen at their MPR room and everyone is looking forward to next year! Special thanks to Linda Fleming who organized and hosted this wonderful 1st annual gathering!
