Engaging with Homelessness

On April 19, 2018, a panel of experts met to discuss the factors contributing to homelessness and how we, as a community can engage to effect positive change.

The panel members consisted of Costa Mesa Mayor Pro-Tem Allan Mansoor, Costa Mesa Outreach coordinator Muriel Ullman, executive director of Trellis Ian Stevenson and Officer Trevor Jones of the Costa Mesa Police Department. The event was moderated by former Costa Mesa Parks and Recreation commissioner Brett Eckles.

The event was sponsored by Trellis, a religious based organization that has been instrumental in coordinating churches, government and individuals to address and solve the problems of homelessness in Costa Mesa.
